The Dark Interactions Team went to Alton Illinois to investigate the First Unitarian Church. We had full run of the location, we had a long talk with Rev Phil Mercer, who per the story reported hung himself in the Church.
We first made contact with him in the basement of the church. where we spoke by the crawl space. he told is that he liked to hang out in the crawl space, he also told us that the church was used as a stop on the underground railroad.
when we reached Rev Phil's old office which is also the location where his body was found Rev Phil began to communicate with us again. He told us that he s he didn't kill himself, but that he was murdered, I'll talk more about that later.
Rev Phil told us he came to the church in 1928, and died Nov 23rd 1934.
He also told us that he did not hang himself, but that he was murdered.
There were personal fact that was told to us. I will not post that. not to hide it, but to respect all involved.
This is some of what we gathered while talking to Rev Phil.
Rev or Pastor Phillip Mercer came to Alton Il in 1928
while he was in Alton, he never bought a home, or rented a home or apt.
he did things that were not appropriate.
he did not kill himself
there were 10 people in the room when he died.
his body was found by Mr. McKinney the person who owned the house he was staying at.
he died on November 23rd 1934.
